Background

In 1928, Professor Dr. Toshiyuki Hara A.C. from Japan introduced Electric Potential Therapy. Health authorities have recognized EPT as a medical device since 1968.

Therapy Principle

EPT surrounds the human body with an electric field that is similar to the body's natural electric field. The human body is made up of cells with cell membranes acting like a capacitor. Negative current is present inside all normal cells while positive current is present outside of the cell membrane, resulting in a cell membrane potential.

When negative potential instantly infuses the body, it increases negative potential within the body to counteract positive ions, which in excessive quantities are detrimental to human health. Excessive positive ions can acidify blood and cause cells to become unhealthy, resulting in metabolic disorders, compromised immunity, and illness.
